Kanavel presents all the typical characteristics of the great Eugène Cornu designs as the canoed astern and a really robust construction structure, which enabled him to overcome plenty of vicissitudes. The Kanavel is made of teak wood, the tacks of mahogany –lighter than the teak in order to reduce the upper weights -, the ribs of acacia and the keel of oak.
All those essences confirm the fineness of its construction, done by Pichavant, one of the best historical shipyards of France. The yacht has a robust structure, but it was done paying special attention to the weights, to enable those great features. The Kanavel always satisfies the expectations, even with light breeze. What does not cease to be important for a classic!
